The WB&A Chapter
follows the Mission Statement of the TCA National Organization.
To develop an appreciation of and to
preserve an important segment of history “Tinplate Toy
Trains” through research, education, community outreach,
fellowship, establishment of collecting standards, and to
promote the growth and enjoyment of collecting and operating
toy, model and scale trains.
The chapter also directly supports the
activities and events of the Eastern Division of the TCA.
One of the most notable events is the semi-annual Train Meet in
York, Pennsylvania.
The WB&A also holds an annual Toy Train Show in Annapolis, Maryland, at the Annapolis Armory.
In addition, a similar Toy Train Show is held annually in
Virginia, where the National Capital Trackers display a large
"O" Gauge train layout. We are seeking a new
location for this Christmas Time event.
